The City of Greenacres is pleased to announce the 2026 Educational Scholarship Program, which will award eleven $1,500 scholarships. These include one in memory of former City employee Denise Padgett, to be awarded to an applicant for athletic success; one in memory of former Councilman Norman W. Rose for community service; and one for academic pursuits in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field.
Leagues are open to children, who as of September 1, 2025 are age five (5) years and older.

Greenacres Fire Rescue invites residents to participate in a free Hands-Only CPR class at the Greenacres Community Center on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. This engaging, life-saving course will provide participants with essential skills to respond confidently during cardiac emergencies.
This class is designed for informational purposes only and does not provide American Heart Association certification. However, it’s a great opportunity to learn the basics of CPR and increase your confidence in providing immediate help during an emergency.
Join us at our annual Egg'stravaganza event on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at our Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park! Enjoy the FREE Egg Hunt which will begin promptly at 10:15am. Hunt for special prize eggs, go on a hayride, create kids crafts and enjoy a day of fun and lots of entertainment. Photos with the Bunny, rides, games, food and refreshments available for purchase. We hope to see you there!
