The City of Greenacres would like to recognize and thank these businesses and organizations for their support of community events, athletics and Youth Programs.
The annual World Tai Chi & Qigong Day is on the last Saturday of April and it takes place at the Greenacres Community Center Banquet Facility. Each year in hundreds of cities, spanning 80 nations, people come together, to breathe together, providing a healing vision for our world. Spread the word and join us on April 25, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Celebrate a milestone as the City of Greenacres marks its 100th Anniversary with a community birthday celebration for all ages! Join us for a fun-filled day featuring live music by the band Remix, local vendors, inflatable attractions, and classic favorites like hamburgers, hot dogs, and birthday cake. This special centennial event will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Free hot dogs, burgers, ice cream and inflatables! Come celebrate 100 years of community, history, and togetherness in Greenacres!
Join us for the second of three Sunday Sounds events on June 28, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park. Enjoy an evening of live music, dancing, and delicious food from local food trucks at this family-friendly celebration of culture, community, and everything that makes Greenacres special. Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, and your appetite for a fun-filled night.
Join us at our annual Independence Day Celebration "Ignite the Night" - our July 4th event at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m! It is a patriotic, family-friendly celebration featuring live music entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display. See you all there!
Join us for this 4th annual FREE Health and Resource Fair on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Greenacres Community Center. This fair is designed to provide valuable information and provide an opportunity to learn more about available resources. Over 30 vendors will be on site to discuss beneficial programs and services as well as offer free health screenings, presentations and much more!
