Join us on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park, for a fun-filled evening at the PBSO Not So Scary Trunk or Treat event in the City of Greenacres! This family-friendly event promises a safe and enjoyable Halloween experience for children and adults alike.
Join us on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 9:00 am, at Greenacres City Hall for our annual Veterans Day Tribute, a heartfelt event dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have served our country. The ceremony includes a Presentation of Colors, the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem, an Invocation, and inspiring speeches. The tribute also features a performance by a local school band, adding a special touch to the day's proceedings. Come together with our community to pay tribute to our veterans and celebrate their sacrifices and contributions.
Kick off the holiday season with a festive morning on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Greenacres Fire Rescue Station 94, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am! Bring the whole family to meet Santa and snap a photo with him by the fire truck. Enjoy entertainment from a talented balloon artist and feast on a delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast featuring pancakes, sausage, and eggs. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to celebrate, support our local heroes, and make cherished memories with your family. See you there!
Join us for a magical evening with Santa, filled with holiday cheer and festive activities! Enjoy the Christmas tree lighting ceremony, fun amusements, school performances, face painting, arts and crafts, carolers, and much more. Children under 11 may receive a gift from Santa, while supplies last! Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Holiday in the Park takes place at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The City of Greenacres will kick off its 100th anniversary with a Centennial Celebration on Saturday, December 13, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park. This family-friendly event follows Holiday in the Park and will feature entertainment and activities to launch a year of centennial festivities.
Celebrate the season at the Greenacres Community Center, on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with ice cream sundaes, crafts, games, and a photo with Santa! Perfect for ages 4 and up, with limited spots. Pre-registration is required for this holiday fun!
