Business Tax Receipts

Dear Business and Rental Property Owners,

We value our business and rental property owners and appreciate your part in making Greenacres a great place to live and do business.

The process to apply for a NEW business or rental property tax receipt requires you to submit the non-refundable business tax fee, as determined by the type of business or rental property using our fee calculation worksheet, along with your application. You can find the fee calculation worksheet on our website along with our applications or you can request a copy to be emailed. Just as we cannot accept an application that does not have all required documents, we will not be able to accept the business tax receipt application without payment. Please note that initial payments cannot be made online. Payments must be made by check or money order and should be made payable to the City of Greenacres with the name of your business, as listed on your application, or the address of your rental property, written on the memo line and must be mailed or hand delivered to 5800 Melaleuca Ln, Greenacres, FL 33463.

As the rest of the world is, we are moving towards an internet based system with the help of our business and rental property owners updating required email addresses and phone numbers with the City, we will be able to disburse pertinent information and if necessary, reminders of renewal due dates, etc., quicker, and more frequent. You can email us at businessinfo@greenacresfl.gov with a current email address along with the business name or rental property address and current phone number and we will update your account for these types of services.
