On Wednesday, July 23, Greenacres Fire Rescue held a Change of Command Ceremony, a time-honored tradition that symbolizes the formal transfer of leadership within the department.

This significant event marked the transition from Fire Chief Brian Fuller to Fire Chief Phillip Konz.

Honoring Chief Brian Fuller

Chief Fuller has led Greenacres Fire Rescue with dedication and distinction for the past four years. Under his leadership, the department achieved major milestones in safety, training, and community service.

With 31 years of service to the residents and visitors of Greenacres, Palm Beach County, and the Town of Palm Beach, Chief Fuller leaves behind an incredible legacy of public safety and leadership. We thank him for his outstanding commitment and wish him the very best in his well-earned retirement. Enjoy your next chapter!

Welcoming Chief Phillip Konz

Taking the helm is Chief Phillip Konz, a 21-year veteran of Greenacres Fire Rescue. Chief Konz brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, having served the last four years as Assistant Chief. His vision and leadership will continue to guide the department as it grows to meet the needs of our community.
