Resolution 2020-21: Authorizing a grant to provide emergency feeding program between the Florida Parks and Recreation Association and No Kid Hungry, for the City of Greenacres Youth Programs Camp and Afterschool Programs; and authorizing approval from the Mayor and City Council, and authorizing City Officials to effectuate implementation of the terms of the grant. - Michele Thompson, Community Recreation Services Director.

Ordinance 2020-01: First Reading; Removing Article VI, Section 8-90, in Chapter 8, of the City Code to remove the ban in order to allow Medical Marijuana Treatment Center - Dispensing Facilities within the City; providing for conflicts, severability, codification and an effective date. - Kara Irwin-Ferris, Building, Planning and Engineering Director.
B. Ordinance 2020-02: First Reading; Amending Chapter 16, Article I, General, Section 16-1; Article III, District Regulations, Division 8, Office, Professional and Institutional, Section 16-425, Division 9, Commercial Neighborhood, Sections 16-447 and 16-450, Division 10, Commercial General, Sections 16-475, and Division 11, Commercial Intensive, Sections 16-500, Division 14, Mixed Development, Sections 16-543 and 16-546, Division 15, Mixed Development - Office, Section 16-562 and Division 16, Mixed Use Development - Original Section, Sections 16-575 and 16-577 in order to remove the ban on Medical Marijuana Treatment Center - Dispensing Facilities ( MMTC-DF); providing that each and every other Section and Subsection of Chapter 16. C. Ordinance 2020-07: First Reading; Amending Chapter 16, Article I, “in General”, Section 16-1 “Definitions” and Article IV, “Supplementary District Regulations”, Division 6., “Temporary Uses” to add a new section 16-721 “Mobile Food Dispensing Vehicles and Mobile Vendors” to provide for regulations regarding mobile vendors dispensing food and other items; providing that each and every other section and subsection of Chapter 16. D. QUASI-JUDICAL PUBLIC HEARING: Resolution 2020-15: Approving the application for a Special Exception to allow a House of Worship in a Commercial Neighborhood (CN) Zoning District, located at the Northwest Corner of Wellman Trail and Melaleuca Lane at 4615 Melaleuca Lane, as requested by the petitioner, Robert Kuoppala, Agent for the Owner, Beulah Church of God 7th Day, Inc.; providing for repeal of conflicting resolutions; and providing for effective date. - Kara Irwin-Ferris, Building, Planning and Engineering Director.
E. Resolution 2020-24: Approving the application for a Site Plan approval to allow a House of Worship in a Commercial Neighborhood (CN) Zoning District, located at the Northwest Corner of Wellman Trail and Melaleuca Lane at 4615 Melaleuca Lane, as requested by the petitioner, Robert Kuoppala, Agent for the Owner, Beulah Church of God 7th Day, Inc.; providing for repeal of conflicting resolutions; and providing for an effective date. – Kara Irwin-Ferris, Building, Planning and Engineering Director.
F. PUBLIC HEARING: Resolution 2020-19: Relating to the provision of residential Solid Waste collection services in the City of Greenacres, Florida providing for purpose and definitions; providing for legislative determinations; approving the assessment rate for residential solid waste collection services for the fiscal year beginning on October 1, 2020; imposing a residential solid waste collection services assessment against assessed property located within the City of Greenacres for the fiscal year beginning on October 1, 2020; providing for severability; providing for conflicts; and providing an effective date. - Teri Beiriger, Director of Finance.
G. QUASI-JUDICAL PUBLIC HEARING: Resolution 2020-16: CANCEL DATE TBA: Approving the application for a Special Exception to allow a House of Worship in a Commercial Intensive (CI) zoning district, located on the east side of South 57th Avenue at 3950 S. 57th Avenue, as requested by the petitioner, Aaron Taylor, Agent for the Owner, Daniel Madistin LLC.; providing for repeal of conflicting resolutions; and providing for an effective date. – Kara Irwin-Ferris, Building, Planning and Engineering Director.
