Inspections - Scheduling / Canceling
NOTICE
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AS OUR INSPECTION' S SYSTEM HAS CHANGED:
- Starting September 3rd, 2024, inspections for the following day are to be scheduled before 3pm.
- Windows & Doors Installation are REQUIRED to schedule a Buck Inspection before the final, pictures can be used at the inspector's discretion.
- Roofs Installation are REQUIRED to Schedule Sheathing, Tin Tag and In Progress before Final. No affidavits are being accepted.
TO SCHEDULE AN INSPECTION
Inspection are to be scheduled through the MGO Contractor's Portal, or if the permit was approved prior April 16th, 2026, by calling 561-642-2062 or emailing inspections@greenacresfl.gov.
Scheduling hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please note, starting September 3rd, 2024; Inspections requested after 3:00 p.m. will NOT be scheduled for the following day. If an inspection needs to be canceled, notice must be given no later than 8:30 a.m. the day of inspection.
If a Notice of Commencement (NOC) is required, please be sure the certified copy has been submitted to the Building Department prior to your request in order to avoid any delays or cancelations.
