Property Enhancement Grant Program

The Property Enhancement Grant program is a financial grant intended to engage and encourage property owners and businesses to maintain the value of their properties by renovating and rehabilitating the physical appearance of their properties within the City of Greenacres. You can be awarded up to 50% of the total project cost up to a $5000 maximum grant amount for eligible improvements.

Matching Grant: Grant funds will be matched by their equal or greater investment of private funds for the purpose of restoring/renovating residential and commercial buildings visible from the public street. This is a competitive grant awarded following an application, evaluation and review process and will be paid on a reimbursement basis subject to annual budget approval and allocation.

Program Timeline

January 1 - March 1, 2024 Application open enrollment
March 2024 Committee will review applications AND RECIPIENTS WILL BE CONTACTED 
April 2024 all agreements TO BE executed
July 2024 Permit application (if applicable) submital deadline
MARCH 1, 2025 ALL PROJECTS MUST BE COMPLETED AND FINAL DOCUMENTATION SUBMITTED

A Project Completion checklist will be due once the project is complete. 

Grant funds will be processed and awarded shortly after.
