MyGovernmentOnline (MGO) – Now Live

The City of Greenacres is now live with MyGovernmentOnline (MGO), a new user-friendly online platform designed to make it easier and more convenient to do business in the City. MGO allows customers to submit applications, track application status, receive notifications, and make payments online in one location.

Current Services Available in MGO

  • Code Compliance
  • Business Tax Receipts (BTRs)

Additional modules will be rolled out in phases, including:

  • Permitting (Anticipated to Go Live after mid-January)
  • Planning & Zoning

All customers are encouraged to create an MGO account now to ensure a smooth experience. After your account is created and your phone number is verified, applications associated with your phone number will be able to link to your account.

Business Tax Receipt (BTR) Information

Business Tax Receipt services are now processed through MGO. Both new and existing businesses will use MGO for BTR applications and renewals.

BTR renewals were due September 30, 2025. Late fees apply per Florida Statutes §205.053:

  • October 1–31: 10%
  • November 1–30: 15%
  • December 1–31: 20%
  • January 1–31: 25%
  • February 1: $25 collection fee plus $100 delinquent fee (over 150 days)

The Development & Neighborhood Services Department plans to host an instructional session on using MGO for Business Tax Receipts. Additional details will be announced soon.
