Mission Statement:

Committed to excellent citizenry service with immediate response to all fire and medical needs, while always endeavoring to obtain and maintain respect and confidence. 

Greenacres Fire Rescue is a full service, professional fire department providing fire suppression, progressive rescue techniques, and advance life support treatment and transport. Our Fire Prevention Division provides life safety protection, plan review, and property inspections. We proudly serve over 39,000 residents citywide (approx. 6 square miles), over 2,000 residents within the City of Atlantis, and the thousands of visitors and guests who commute through our city each day.   

The Departments administration consists of a Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, Division Chief, three Battalion Chief's, Fire Marshal, Assistant Fire Marshal,  Administrative Assistant, and a Receptionist. The operations personnel consist of Fire Rescue Captains, Driver Engineers, and Rescue personnel who are highly trained and dual certified as firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians. This ensures we are providing the highest possible standard of care while protecting the lives and property of the citizens and visitors we serve. The personnel operate on a shift schedule, working 24/48 and respond from two fire stations; Station 94, (Headquarters) located at 2995 South Jog Road and Station 95, located at 5095 Haverhill Road.

The Department optimizes patient care by maintaining rapid response times, enhanced training, and implementation of proven techniques combined with the most advanced emergency medical protocols available. Moreover, we continue to engage the public by offering community outreach programs such as, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) classes, blood pressure screenings, health fairs, school demonstrations, and public awareness lectures.
