Each year the City of Greenacres hosts the Daddy Daughter Dance Event for fathers and all father figures. It is an enchanted and memorable evening for daughters ages 4 and up. It includes dinner, dessert, dancing, photos, fun & games and more! Join us on February 7, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a fun Roaring 20's theme night at our Greenacres Community in honor of the City's Centennial!
Kick off the year with the first of three Sunday Sounds events! Join us on February 22, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park for an evening of live music, dancing, and delicious food from local food trucks. This family-friendly event celebrates culture, community, and everything that makes Greenacres special, so bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, and your appetite for a fun-filled night.
Greenacres Fire Rescue invites you to the 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off, a lively community event supporting the Greenacres Fire Rescue Benevolent Fund and other local charities. Join us for an afternoon of delicious chili, live music, food trucks, beer and adult beverages, business vendors, and fun for the whole family. The event will take place at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Join us at our annual Egg'stravaganza event on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at our Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park! Enjoy the FREE Egg Hunt which will begin promptly at 10:00am. Hunt for special prize eggs, go on a hayride, create kids crafts and enjoy a day of fun and lots of entertainment. Photos with the Bunny, rides, games, food and refreshments available for purchase. We hope to see you there!
The annual World Tai Chi & Qigong Day is on the last Saturday of April and it takes place at the Greenacres Community Center Banquet Facility. Each year in hundreds of cities, spanning 80 nations, people come together, to breathe together, providing a healing vision for our world. Spread the word and join us on April 25, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Celebrate a milestone as the City of Greenacres marks its 100th Anniversary with a community birthday celebration for all ages! Join us for a fun-filled day featuring live music, local vendors, inflatable attractions, and classic favorites like hamburgers, hot dogs, and birthday cake. This special centennial event will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park. Event time will be announced soon.
Admission is free, with food and refreshments available for purchase. Come celebrate 100 years of community, history, and togetherness in Greenacres!

Join us at our annual Independence Day Celebration "Ignite the Night" - our July 4th event at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m! It is a patriotic, family-friendly celebration featuring live music entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display. See you all there!
Join us for this 4th annual FREE Health and Resource Fair on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Greenacres Community Center. This fair is designed to provide valuable information and provide an opportunity to learn more about available resources. Over 30 vendors will be on site to discuss beneficial programs and services as well as offer free health screenings, presentations and much more!
