Recognitions

The City's financial documents, including the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and the Annual Budget, are submitted to the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for review and evaluation.  The documents are reviewed for conformance with the highest standards for preparation of state and local government financial reports and budget presentation.

The City's financial documents have received the following prestigious national awards from the Government Finance Officers Association:

* Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the fiscal year (FY2022) ending September 30, 2022.  This certificate has been received for 31 consecutive years.

* Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting for the fiscal year (FY2022) ending September 30, 2022.  This certificate has been received for 14 years.

* Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the fiscal year (FY2023) beginning October 1, 2022.  This award has been received for 30 consecutive years.
