Fire Prevention and Life Safety

The City of Greenacres has established a fire prevention and inspections unit that is administered by the City’s Fire Marshal. The responsibilities associated with this unit include Fire Safety Inspections, Fire Plan Review, Fire Cause and Origin Investigations, and Public Education. In fiscal year 2020 a total of 1562 Fire Safety Inspections, 180 Fire Plan Reviews, 15 Fire Cause and Origin Investigations and 29 Public Education presentations were completed.
