The 8th Edition of the Florida Building Code is in effect as of December 31st. Click on the link below to access the new edition. We are also using the 2020 Edition of the National Electric Code.

PLEASE NOTE:
Starting October 1, 2024, there will be updates to the fee schedule, including revisions and work without permit fees, along with a $75 application fee at the time of submission. Please click on this link for more details.
Effective January 1, 2025, at 12:01 A.M. Palm
Beach County Impact Fees will change. Please also be
advised that new impact fee schedules will be
published and become effective on January 1st for
each of the next two years. Please also be aware that
ALL Impact Fee components will change. New Impact
Fee Schedules are available at the Building Department,
the Impact Fee Office and on the Impact Fee website

To ensure the health and safety of the public through the effective, efficient, and fair enforcement of the City's laws and ordinances relating to the construction of buildings and maintenance of property.

- Issuance of building permits and temporary use permits

- Issuance of certificates of occupancy and certificates of completion

- Investigation of code enforcement complaints; issuance of courtesy notices and citations
