This session will provide participants with essential strategies and practical tips to prepare effectively for hurricane and storm seasons. With a focus on proactive measures, this workshop will equip attendees with the knowledge needed to safeguard their families, homes, and communities from the risks associated with severe weather.
Key areas covered will include:

We’ll also cover the importance of including all family members in the planning process to ensure that everyone knows what to do in case of an emergency.
- Gathering Essential Supplies: Discover the critical items needed for a storm preparedness kit, including water, food, medications, first aid supplies, and important documents. We’ll also discuss how to assemble a “go-bag” for rapid evacuation and plan for any unique needs, such as pet supplies or special accommodations.
