Bid No. 24-013 WIC Center Restroom Renovations

The City of Greenacres, Florida is soliciting bid proposals from experienced and qualified companies to renovate one (1) men’s restroom, one (1) women’s restroom, and one (1) family restroom at the WIC Center located at 5985 10th Ave, Greenacres, FL 33463.

Bid proposals must be submitted on or before Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 3:00 PM by one of two methods as follows:

1. Online through DemandStar; OR
2. Submitted in duplicate, in one sealed envelope addressed to the Director of Purchasing and marked "SEALED BID – 24-013 WIC CENTER RESTROOM RENOVATIONS". Bid proposals will be received by the City of Greenacres, Florida at the office of the Director of Purchasing located at 5800 Melaleuca Lane, Greenacres, Florida 33463.

Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 virtually via Microsoft Teams. Attendance is not mandatory. A mandatory site inspection form must be signed and submitted with bids. Bids received from Bidders not submitting the mandatory site inspection form will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. After the bid has been awarded, no extra charge or compensation will be allowed as a result of failure to attend the conference and resulting site visit.

Any bid received after the designated closing time will be returned unopened. Bidders desiring copies of the bid document for use in preparing a bid proposal may obtain a set of such documents from DemandStar at www.demandstar.com.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bid proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The City further reserves the right to award the agreement to that bidder whose bid proposal best complies with the specifications. Bidders may withdraw their bid proposals by notifying the City in writing at any time prior to the deadline for bid proposal submittal. After the deadline, the bid proposal will constitute an irrevocable offer, for a period of sixty (60) days. Once opened, bid proposals become a record of the City and will not be returned to the bidders.
