What is Park and Recreation Month?

July is Park and Recreation Month, and the City of Greenacres is proud to join the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) in celebrating the power of parks, the people behind them, and the communities they serve.

 

This year’s theme: "Build Together, Grow Together"

Parks are more than green spaces. They’re where friendships are built, families gather, and communities thrive. All month long, we’re honoring the impact of our Parks and Recreation team and the vital role these spaces play in making Greenacres a vibrant, welcoming city.
