Peter A. Noble, Councilmember
Councilmember Noble was elected to the Council in March 1998, and was re-elected into office most recently in March 2022. During his tenure, he has been involved in almost every aspect of the City’s governance, including the completion of advance courses with the Institute for Elected Municipal Officials. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Palm Beach County League of Cities.
He has participated in the Florida League of Cities (FLC) Legislative Day events in Tallahassee and has served as a Trustee of their $500 million dollar Florida Municipal Pension Trust Fund. He also served as a member of the FLC Utilities and Telecommunications Committee that advocate in defining the role that cities and the State of Florida play in the changing telecommunications industry; specifically, the need to safeguard the states’ sales tax revenue.
For over forty (40) years, Councilmember Noble had been active in the financial services industry as a Financial Advisor. Twenty-five (25) of those years were in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he represented the firms of Blyth Eastman Dillon, A. G. Becker & Co., and First Boston, amongst others. He is a Past President of the 200 member Chapter of the San Juan Sales and Marketing Executive Association. He was active for over twelve years with the San Juan Jaycees and Past President of the Chapter. He was a member of the Rotary International for over eleven years, and for ten (10) years, a member of several Palm Beach County Chambers of Commerce. He is a past member of the Greenacres Code Enforcement Board.
Councilmember Noble was born in New York City, and majored in business at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona; he is married to Ana Noble who is a noted artist from Puerto Rico; and they have three (3) children and three (3) grandchildren. His hobbies are reading and traveling.
