Councilmember Bousquet was elected to the Greenacres City Council in March 2011, and was recently re-elected unopposed in March 2020.

Ms. Bousquet’s professional background is in real estate and finance; she was the Comptroller of Temple Beth Tikvah here in Greenacres, and retired after 16 years in 2021. She attended both Kean College and Union College in New Jersey where she studied finance.

Paula relocated to Greenacres from New Jersey in 2004. Upon her arrival she immediately became involved in the City; began regularly attending Council meetings and served on the City’s Code Enforcement Board prior to her election. Her local civic involvements include the Kiwanis Club of Greenacres where she served as Secretary on the Board of Directors and the Greenacres Historical Society. Ms. Bousquet regularly volunteers for City events at the Community Center including Lunch with Santa and Thanksgiving Dinner.

Previously in her career Ms. Bousquet was a credit analyst for Maddaluna Disposal a subsidiary of Allied Waste in New Jersey. Additionally, Paula has always had a special place in her heart for animals and has volunteered for organizations that promote low cost spay and neuter programs and re-homing of stray and abandoned pets.
