Buy Local. Shop Greenacres Initiative

The real economic engine in the City of Greenacres is family.

Small business owners, mom-and-pop enterprises, and branded boutiques are creating a “can-do” culture in our  South Florida city, and the City wants to recognize their role in making Greenacres a great place to live, work, play, and shop!

Buy Local. Shop Greenacres. is expanding the new social media campaign spotlighting the great locally-owned retail therapy outlets that can be found in Greenacres. Beginning in 2026, Buy Local. Shop Greenacres. will spotlight a local store and its merchandise.

The best part? It's all free for small business owners.

The goal of Buy Local. Shop Greenacres. is to bring attention to the city's small businesses and how they offer that extra something special to their customers.

Boutiques, store fronts and shops of all types and sizes, except national chains, are welcome to participate. If your small business has a great variety of items, good service, warm and friendly staff, Greenacres wants to hear from you.

To be eligible to participate, the business must:

  • Be located within the City limits

  • Hold an active Business Tax Receipt

  • Have a valid Certificate of Occupancy

Get ready for your close-up! We're looking for small businesses to participate in our exciting new social media series. We'll come to you, capture your best-selling items and services.
