Inspections - Scheduling / Canceling
NOTICE
The Building Department will be closed Monday January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day. No inspections will be scheduled for this day. To schedule inspections for Tuesday January 20th you must request before 3:00 pm on Friday January 17th.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AS OUR INSPECTION' S SYSTEM HAS CHANGED:
- Starting September 3rd, 2024, inspections for the following day are to be scheduled before 3pm.
- Windows & Doors Installation are REQUIRED to schedule a Buck Inspection before the final, pictures can be used at the inspector's discretion.
- Roofs Installation are REQUIRED to Schedule Sheathing, Tin Tag and In Progress before Final. Affidavit will be accepted with photos, but inspections are REQUIRED to be scheduled.
TO SCHEDULE AN INSPECTION
Inspection scheduling hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please note, starting September 3rd, 2024; Inspections requested after 3:00 p.m. will NOT be scheduled for the following day. If an inspection needs to be canceled, notice must be given no later than 8:30 a.m. the day of inspection.
If a Notice of Commencement (NOC) is required, please be sure the certified copy has been submitted to the Building Department prior to your request in order to avoid any delays or cancelations.
